In the Star Trek universe, what color is Mr. Spock’s blood?
One of sci-fi’s most beloved and enduring characters is the half-Vulcan Mr. Spock. He was the Science Officer/First Officer aboard the starship Enterprise in the original 1960s “Star Trek” TV series. As a Vulcan-human hybrid, Mr. Spock’s blood was not red, but green. This was because the dominant Vulcan genes produced blood cells based on copper, not iron. Leonard Nimoy brought the iconic character to life. Nimoy died Feb. 27, 2015. He was 83. Source: IBTimes.co.uk
